After completing 12 weeks of employment, all employees are enrolled in the NEST pension scheme in compliance with the legal obligation to auto-enroll supply staff. If you prefer, you have the option to opt-out within a 30-day window and receive a full refund of any deductions made.

AWR
We are always working to ensure our teaching and support staff get the best deal possible. Agency Workers’ Regulations (AWR) entitles agency workers to the same pay and other working conditions enjoyed by a hirer’s permanent staff, after the agency worker has completed 12 weeks of service in an equivalent permanent school role with the same hirer (the ‘hirer’ is the school/academy).
After the 12-week period, you are eligible to benefit in the following areas in line with the hirer’s own workers:
Pay (in the case of teachers, teaching assistants and cover supervisors, this means the agency worker’s scale rate, as determined by the school’s pay policy as if they had been recruited directly and NOT that of the employee they are covering).

Guaranteed pay scheme
Our Guaranteed Pay Scheme provides certainty and peace of mind for your supply requirements. You can benefit from a set rate for supply work, irrespective of whether we assign you a placement on any given day. This scheme is available to a specific group of supply staff who meet our criteria concerning availability, work areas, and required qualifications/experience. To determine your eligibility for the scheme, please contact your local branch for additional information.
